Nikki
Practice Manager
I am in charge of the day-to-day operations of the orthodontic surgeries in our practice. I also manage staff training and development, front office and staff scheduling, and patient communications. I really enjoy the environment we have created at Lane Orthodontics. It is bright and fresh, a place that is not only fun for us but also our patients. I am happily married, and we have two children, a cat and a dog. I love playing dodge ball with my kids and hockey socially. I am a busy mum. I also often volunteer my free time at my kids’ school and study part-time at James Cook University.
Kim-Anh
Hygienist and Therapist
You will find me assisting Dr Lane with routine adjustments. I make sure our treatments are continuing as planned and that your oral hygiene is on the right path. I love this practice because all our team members truly care for our patients and we are constantly learning and upgrading our skills and technology to offer you the very best treatments available. I love spending time with my sisters, brother, and dog. I also really enjoy dancing, specifically ballet, hip hop, and jazz.

Receptionist
I introduce all new patients to our practice both by phone and then again in person. I enjoy helping the office run in a smooth, timely fashion and teaching patients how to use our patient touch-screen login. I'm also here to help you with all your appointment and financial queries. I moved to Cairns with my husband and our two boys and we haven’t looked back.

Dental Assistant/Receptionist
I assist Dr Lane in the clinic during treatments. In the reception area, I work as a liaison with patients and their families. It is wonderful to see our patients gain confidence from their beautiful smiles we create together. I have known Dr Lane since he was practicing dentistry and have always found him to be down to earth and caring. It has been a joy to work in this office. Outside of here I enjoy the outdoors, especially going to the beach, camping, and fishing. I also enjoy spending time with my four sister and dogs.

Treatment Coordinator
I am right in the thick of all treatments. You’ll find me assisting with all chairside procedures, doing infection control, and also in the lab. As a coordinator, I also share this information with patients and parents and help them schedule treatments that are appropriately and efficiently timed. Our practice is about more than braces. We bring you smiling and friendly faces with every visit. That’s a guarantee. I love to spend time with my husband and three sons whether camping, boating, or hosting a neighborhood barbecue. We also travel to Asia each year for a holiday.

Treatment Coordinator
My job is to make your experience unforgettable for its comfort and quality. I take time to get to know our patients and families. I believe that good treatment shouldn’t demand important sacrifices of your life outside our office. I work to arrange appointments that optimise both patient and staff schedules. Watching patient reactions after their braces are removed is one of the most rewarding parts of this job. The daughter of an Ingham cane farmer, I am happily married with three sons and two dogs. I enjoy spending time with my family. I also like running, reading, and keeping fit at the gym.

Treatment Coordinator
I work and arrange our staff’s schedules and patient schedules to optimise treatments making them both convenient and well-timed for your needs. I have been in the dental industry for over 15 years and love being part of a staff with over 130 years of collective experience. My partner and I have five children, a doberman, and a jungle python. I love horse riding, skiing, and Latin dancing. I also work as a personal trainer. I love helping people feel good about themselves.

Trainee Dental Assistant
I do chairside assistance and sterilisation during treatments. I have been a huge fan of our practice since Dr Lane gave me my smile back in 2008. I love how well our team shares ideas and works together. We make sure all our patients receive a positive experience and service throughout their entire treatment. I split my free time between, family, pets, visiting the beach, and playing futsal.
